“We LOVED Cora’s Cottage.  It was clean, spacious and light filled.  Helena, the host, has done a great job of labelling things clearly so we know where to find everything.  The location is so central with excellent access to supermarkets and the shopping strip.  We had amazing brunches every day at Frankie’s and ventured out to the wineries in the region based on the recommendations provided by the host in the info books in the house.  My friends and I are already planning our next visit here.  Helena was easy to communicate with and highly responsive.  The number of people staying in the house varied across the stay and Helena was able to assist me with my less than straightforward booking.”  January 2016

“Thank you for making this charming cottage available to us in winter. We were cosy and comfortable with all mod cons. The views of the full moon from the back garden in the early evening, and through the bedroom window in the early morning, were stunning. Our Westie Angus and our Jack Russell Jasper were kept busy sniffing around the garden and overjoyed when they discovered the doggy toy box. They (and we) also loved the walks along the river. It only took about an hour to get there from Melbourne. We found Warragul to be a charming town with several organic fruit and veggie shops, loads of Gippsland condiments and wine and many inviting cafes. Can’t wait to return.” Dr Beth Wilson AM Former Health Services Commissioner,Victoria!!!!!!!, June 2015

“We had a great time at Coras cottage. The house was very spacious and we enjoyed the fact our dog was free to come inside. Most pet friendly places require you to leave your pooch outside when staying. The house is nicely located in Warragul a short walk to the centre of town, which surprisingly to us had a lot to offer in the ways of cafes, bars and restaurants. Should you choose to cook yourself the house comes fully equipped with everything you need.” Tom, May 2015

“Enjoyed our stay very much. Peaceful – quiet and very central. Our kelpie felt safe & secure. Eating places: Warragul Country Club good value. We won 3 prizes on Friday night.” Sharon & Cooper (dog), May 2015″

Loved being back at Cora’s Cottage.  So convenient for visiting our son and family in Warragul.  Like being able to walk into town too!  It was good to know how comfortable we would be on arrival this time.  Long may you continue to let out the house on a short term basis, as we will be back in Warragul again, and again!” The Pearces Nov 2011

Once again I’ve returned to Cora’s Cottage and appreciated it’s comfort, style and homeyness.  It’s proximity to such amazing places is superb.  We have visited Labratouche, Jindivick (where we had lunch at the Jindi Cafe (jum!) and then into Neerim South and Noojee (where we stopped at pub for an ale and lemon squash).  Tomorrow we’re going on an adventure to Nickleby’s Alpaca farm and hotel for lunch…then onto find some antiques, local produce, coffee at Yarragon.  Nice couple of days of R+R.”  Cheryl, Ron and Helen, Aug 2011

Lovely 3 days. House ideal for one(even though 6 can sleep comfortably) as half the house can be shut off ensuring dogs do not visit every room. They enjoyed the larger outside area as well.

We had a great time at Cora’s cottage! There is plenty to see and do in Gippsland. Plus being located in Warragul was ideal. Easy train ride into Melbourne for a day trip, or out to Mt Baw Baw, the lakes, wineries and cider houses. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the comfort of this homely, warm and inviting cottage.
